Chen Qiufan, also known as Stanley Chen, is an award-winning sci-fi writer, translator, and editor. He works with themes of climate change, AI and cybernetic society, usually combining them with ancient Chinese philosophies. Marea tossica (Huang chao 荒潮, Waste Tide) and the anthology edited with Kai-Fu Lee Ai 2041. Scenari dal futuro dell’intelligenza artificiale (AI 2041: Ten visions for our future) are some of his works published in Italy, respectively by Mondadori and Luiss University Press.
Chen Qiufan’s short story “Anime iperconnesse” (Chaozai 超载, lit. Overload) was published in the 110 issue of Wired (Cosa c’è dopo l’intelligenza artificiale, pp. 47-56).
