In 2016 I spent a year in Beijing at the Communication University and the Central Academy of Drama to improve my fluency in Chinese. In 2023 I obtained my Master’s degree in Oriental and African Languages and Cultures at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, where I also completed a second-level Master’s degree in Chinese Language Teaching in 2025. I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean at the same university.

My research focuses on Chinese minority literature, with particular interest in linguistic hybridity, poetic translation, and literary criticism.

I translated the short story L’uomo che mangiava spaghetti by Liu Jinghui for Touring Club Mappe 03 and Ancora un luogo, a poem by Tsering Woeser, for Internazionale.
