Caratteri - Letteratura Cinese Contemporanea

Caratteri

Caratteri (Characters, the Italian edition of Pathlight) is a literary journal founded in 2014 by Renmin wenxue (People’s Literature), under the expert guidance of Shi Zhanjun and with editorial direction by Qiu Huadong, Patrizia Liberati, and Silvia Pozzi. Today, the Chinese editor-in-chief is Xu Zechen. Published by Beijing’s Foreign Languages Press, the journal explores contemporary Chinese literature, publishing stories and poems often by authors previously unpublished in Italy. Each issue is centred around a specific theme, and between 2016 and 2018, three bilingual editions were also released.
