I teach Italian Linguistics at the University of Milano-Bicocca. My main fields of interest include history of Italian literary language between the 16th and 20th centuries, stylistics, and theory of literature. Among my most recent publications: a new critical edition of Torquato Tasso’s Aminta (co-edited with P. Trovato, Einaudi, 2021) and the Italian translation of Leo Spitzer’s Die Wortbildung als stilistisches Mittel exemplifiziert an Rabelais (co-edited with L. Assenzi, Quodlibet, 2021).
